Hi! I’m Lesli. I’m the owner of Boxwood Travel Design. I specialize in planning luxury travel; providing an elevated, intentional retreat from the norm.
My love for travel began when my husband and I first moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland early in our marriage. Because of the ease of travel to London and the rest of Europe from Belfast, I was able to use our 2.5 years in the United Kingdom as a springboard to learn about new countries, menus and people.
It thrilled me to experience a different culture, savor a city’s culinary best, enrich my historical knowledge of a place and to seek out inspired gardens and architectural design. Our time in the UK instilled in me a deep adoration of afternoon tea, English gardens and—for my husband—Arsenal football! We eventually moved back to the U.S. to work and raise our family, but we’ve always held the blessing of our time abroad closely.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve prioritized travel-planning as a worthwhile and life-giving way to invest in my family and friends. As an advisor, I hope to cultivate this same experience with my clients. My goal is to provide a path for others to push away the clutter of the everyday so that they might engage the world around them through travel.

My Top 3 FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATIONS
I had the immense pleasure of parking my suitcase at a gorgeous hotel on Lake Como for my 25th anniversary. We didn't try to do a ton of sightseeing but instead just enjoyed every inch of our hotel, the lake and scenery, a boat ride in a Venetian taxi on a sunny day, five star breakfasts, daily afternoon Aperol spritzes, and feasting on pasta with abandon. It was restful, beautiful and delicious.
Lake Como
As a huge Anglophile, I can't ever stay away long. Afternoon tea, cozy fires in beautiful hotels, the magical feeling of walking around inside a Dickens novel, perfect scrambled eggs for breakfast, experiencing the choir at a Westminster Abbey service and if I play my cards right, attending a ballet performance at the Royal Opera House are all quintessential London travel moments which continue to draw me back, time and again.
London
The charm of a small town with a distinctly Western vibe paired with stellar hotels and five-star cuisine. All at the foot of the majestic Grand Tetons where it's good to feel small; to fill your lungs with crisp mountain air. In the winter, it's a world-class ski resort and in the summer, Jenny Lake and the surrounding trails inspire--not to mention you're within striking distance of Yellowstone National Park.
